In response to identified needs, the consortium applied for TeSTED project to address critical challenges in the VET sector. The basic motivation was to develop proactive solutions that would improve the educational results of students at risk of dropping out and promote a more inclusive learning environment. Our consortium of VET providers and specialist organizations recognized the urgent need to reduce early school leaving rates, which remain significantly high despite previous efforts. The project aims to address this problem proactively by systematically screening students to identify and support those at risk early on. This project tackles VET dropout rates by taking a proactive approach. It involves early student screening and targeted interventions to keep students in their programs. The initiative also focuses on fostering an inclusive environment by training staff to support vulnerable students and on enhancing VET provider capacity through upskilling. By building post-COVID19 resilience and aligning with EU policies, the project aims to create a more supportive and effective educational system.
